Hero MotoCorp is updating the Hero Destini 125, as images of the redesigned scooter have been leaked online.
The largest two-wheeler maker in the country launched the Destini 125 in late 2018 and it has been well received by customers. The upcoming model marks the first major update for the brand. The turn signals have gotten sleeker and are LED units as opposed to the triangular shaped halogen units in the outgoing version.
The HERO DESTINI 125 is powered by a 124.6cc, single-cylinder engine producing 9PS and 10.4Nm, which is likely to be retained in the newer version as well. The suspension setup consisting of a telescopic fork and a single shock absorber, have also been carried over.
The BSVI stage 2 compliant engine will continue to produce around 9 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 10.4 Nm of peak torque delivered at 5,500 rpm. It will be mated to a CVT transmission.
