BREAKING : Tata Curvv SUV launch on August 7

Tata Motors has confirmed that the Curvv SUV-coupe will launch in India on August 7. The Curvv will be the first mass-market SUV-coupe in India.

The Curve is based on the popular SUV Nexon but would be larger than that in all proportions. It gets split LED headlamps that we are accustomed to seeing from Tata. The side claddings get a glossy black finish, while the rear also gets split lamps as tail lights along with triangular air vents.

The most interesting part of the car, though, is the floating, frameless, Coupe-like roofline, giving it a distinct look. The wheels of the Curvv get a petal-like design.

In terms of features, both the Curvv and Curvv EV is expected to get a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, multi-colour ambient lighting, and wireless phone charging.

Tata is expected to launch the Curvv EV first, with prices starting around Rs 20 lakh. This will position it above the Nexon EV and below the upcoming Harrier EV. The ICE version will launch some time after the EV, and could be priced around Rs 10 lakh-11 lakh.
