Ola Electric introduced its first electric motorcycle in the domestic market as the Roadster is available in regular, X and Pro trim levels. The entry-level Ola Roadster X is priced at Rs. 74,999 for the 2.5 kWh variant while the 3.5 kWh and 4.5 kWh battery options are priced at Rs. 84,999 and Rs. 99,999 (all prices, ex-showroom Bengaluru) respectively.
OLA ROADSTER
Roadster variant steps up performance with peak motor output of 13 kW. It accelerates from 0-40 kmph in 2.2 seconds and achieves a top speed of 126 kmph. The range extends up to 248 km. Battery pack options – 3.5 kWh, 4.5 kWh, and 6 kWh.
This makes the Roadster suitable for those who require a balance between city commuting and longer rides. Roadster is priced at Rs 1,04,999 for the 3.5 kWH variant, Rs 1,19,999 for the 4.5 kWh variant and Rs 1,39,999 for the 6 kWh variant.
OLA ROADSTER X
The Roadster X comes equipped with a 4.3-inch LCD instrument console powered by Ola’s latest MoveOS 5 operating system that brings in features like turn-by-turn navigation, advanced regen, cruise control, DIY Mode, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) alerts and over-the-air updates and more. The bike also gets three ride modes (Sports, Normal, and Eco), a digital key unlock feature, Ola Electric app connectivity and an all-LED lighting setup.
The most affordable Ola electric bike gets a telescopic fork at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is managed by a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear, with a combined braking system (CBS) as standard. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres.
ROADSTER PRO
The Roadster Pro will be powered by a motor with a peak output of 52kW and 105Nm. It will be available in two variants, 8kWh and 16kWh, priced at Rs 2 lakh and Rs 2.50 lakh, respectively. Ola claims the Roadster Pro can do 0-60kph in 1.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 194kph. It also claims the 16kWh battery has an IDC range of 579km.
The Roadster Pro will have a 10-inch TFT touchscreen, USD fork, dual channel ABS, and four riding modes. Safety features include ADAS, three levels of traction control, cornering ABS and wheelie and stoppie control. Deliveries will begin by the first half of 2026.
