The TATA Curvv EV is the newest SUV from Tata Motors. It is an all-new nameplate featuring a segment-first SUV Coupé design language.

Comes in two powertrain options – 45 and 55 – with claimed range up to 585 km.

BATTERY VARIANT:
The Curvv EV gets two battery pack options: a 45kWh unit for the Creative, Accomplished and Accomplished+ S variants, and a 55kWh one for the Accomplished, Accomplished+ S, Empowered+, and Empowered+ A variants. The 45kWh pack provides an MIDC range of 502 km.
While the 55kWh pack offers 585 km on a single charge. Tata claims that, under its C75 standard (which is closer to the real-world figure), the long-range model will achieve 400-425km, and the 45kWh Curvv EV will go 330-350km.
The 55kWh variants get a 167hp electric motor mounted on the front axle, while the 45kWh ones get a 150hp motor; both make 215Nm of torque.
The Curvv EV 55 sprints from 0-100kph in a claimed 8.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 160kph, while the 45kWh model has a claimed 0-100kph time of 9 seconds.
Tata says the battery can get up to 150km of charge in just 15 minutes, and 10-80 percent charge in 40 minutes using a 70kW charger. The iRA app is said to have an integrated charge point, and the model comes with vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities.
