Mahindra XEV 9e, BE 6e Electric SUVs Launch
Mahindra XEV 9e cabin will feature triple-screen setup whereas the Be6e will get a dual screen setup. The BE 6e and XEV 9e will come equipped with 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs, capable of delivering up to 282 hp. These SUVs are expected to offer a range of 450-500 km on a single charge.
The highly anticipated Mahindra BE 6e, an all-electric compact SUV, has been finally unveiled.
Globally revealed alongside its sibling, the XEV 9e, this born-electric offering from Mahindra seems to be good enough (on-paper) to position itself as India’s answer to luxury compact SUVs from global brands. With its futuristic design, a wealth of modern features, and an impressive power output – the highest in its family to date – the BE 6e sets a new benchmark for Mahindra’s EV lineup alongside the XEV 9e.
Both the BE 6e and XEV 9e will feature modern, minimalist interiors with an upmarket feel. Teasers show a new 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, distinguishing them from other Mahindra models.
The XEV 9e is expected to have a panoramic sunroof, while the BE 6e may offer a fixed glass roof.
Both EVs will include multiple screens—three in the XEV 9e and two in the BE 6e—and a range of premium features such as dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, powered front seats, wireless phone chargers, multi-colour ambient lighting, and a premium audio system.
