The Maruti Suzuki eVitara will mark the carmaker’s debut in the Indian electric vehicle segment. The midsize electric SUV, which is essentially the production version of the eVX concept, is set to make its first public appearance at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show.
This event will be part of the second edition of the annual Auto Expo, slated to begin on 17th January in New Delhi. The official prices for the Maruti e Vitara will be announced in March, though its launch date has yet to be revealed.
the 2025 Maruti e Vitara will feature a front fender-mounted charging port, tri-arrow LED DRLs integrated into the main headlight setup, two-piece LED taillights, new dual-tone alloy wheels, integrated spoiler, shark-fin antenna, e Vitara badge on the tailgate, and a rear wiper and washer.
Inside, the first all-electric SUV from Maruti will come equipped with a rotary drive selector dial, drive modes, dual cup holders, hill ascent and descent control functions, vertically stacked central AC vents, and a panoramic sunroof.
The cabin's interior sports a new design featuring a dual-tone theme and vertically oriented AC vents. You get dual displays, one each for the infotainment and driver’s display. The two-spoke steering wheel design adds a sporty flavour inside the cabin. This steering wheel has not been seen on any Maruti Suzuki vehicle in India, yet.
In terms of features, it will get a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay and a fully digital driver’s display as well. We expect it to get features such as a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, ADAS, and more!
