Nissan India has unveiled the upcoming Nissan X-Trail SUV ahead of its launch. Unlike the Nissan Magnite, the upcoming Nissan X-Trail SUV will not be manufactured in India but it will be a fully imported model.
WHAT'S NEW INFO:
- 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine.
- 12V mild-hybrid system that produces 163hp and 300Nm.
- 7 airbags, ABS, EBD, hill start assist, a 360-degree camera system
While the fourth-gen X-Trail, based on the CMF-C platform, has been on sale overseas since 2021 in
5- and 7-seater form, India will get the three-row version.

The X-Trail has an upright, squared-out look and features a split-headlamp setup, a ‘V-Motion’ grille finished in dark chrome, rounded wheel arches with plastic cladding, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and wraparound LED tail-lamps.
Nissan have added neat elements such as split headlamps, door-mounted ORVMs

Nissan X-Trail SUV comes equipped with safety systems such as 7 airbags, ABS, EBD, hill start assist, a 360-degree camera system, front and rear parking sensors, auto wipers and much more.
The NISSAN X-Trail for India will be offered with just a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. The unit features a variable compression ratio, and comes with a 12V mild-hybrid system that produces 163hp and 300Nm.
The powertrain will be paired with a shift-by-wire CVT auto gearbox that is said to have negligible rubberband effect.
PRICE :
Considering the SUV will be brought in as a CBU, the X-Trail's prices are expected to be in the Rs 40 lakh-45 lakh.
