Honda Activa e is the first electric scooter of the brand in India and comes with two swappable 1.5 kWh battery packs.
The scooter features a claimed IDC range of 102 km, a top speed of 80 kph, and an acceleration time of 7.3 seconds from 0 to 60 kph. It is powered by two swappable 1.5kWh batteries housed under the seat. These batteries send power to a swingarm-mounted motor with an output of 6kW and 22Nm torque. However, the placement of the batteries limits storage space.

And since you can’t charge it at home and have to rely on Honda’s battery-swapping network to charge it, that’s another hurdle the electric Activa will have to overcome
The new Activa is now electric, that said the model comes equipped with two swappable batteries of 1.5 kWh battery pack. The brand promises the model to deliver a range of 102 km. The single compact 6 kW rear motor provides a peak torque of 22 Nm and runs at a top speed of 80 kmph. There are three riding modes on offer – Eco, Standard, Sport, So, make sure to select the right mode to make it more fuel efficient. The new Activa e: sprints 0-60 in 7.3 seconds.
Honda Activa E QC1Beneath the seat, the Activa e: is equipped with a swappable battery system that contains two 1.5 kWh batteries. The energy from these batteries is directed to a wheel-side electric motor, which has a rated power output of 4.2 kW (5.6 hp). This power can be enhanced to a peak of 6.0 kW (8 hp). All these features combine to provide a range of 102 km on a single charge. The company is also introducing three riding modes: Standard, Sport, and Econ.
The Activa e is available in two variants - standard (Rs 1.17 lakh) and RoadSync Duo (Rs 1.52 lakh).
